Insight Global is looking for a Night Shift Facility Operator to work on site in Austin, TX and support the strategy and introduction of products based on unique and highly differentiated capabilities of a foundry for semiconductor microsystems and defense electronics companies. Their mission is to advance the state-of-the-art in critical semiconductor domains such as advanced packaging, and in the process to help restore U.S. leadership in semiconductor manufacturing. They are developing cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing technology that will define future roadmaps of semiconductor devices including logic, memory, 3D packaged devices, including thermal management, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor semiconductor manufacturing equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of facility infrastructure and production tools.
  • Support the introduction of new products and processes by collaborating with engineering and operations teams.
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation of equipment status, maintenance activities, and operational metrics.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, system alerts, and emergency situations to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of operations.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience as a facility operator working within semiconductor manufacturing, or a similar technical environment.
  • Experience working with control systems
  • Experience working within facilities (HVAC/ boilers/ chiller/ air bulk handlers)
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and semiconductor manufacturing processes is a plus.


Compensation: $38/hr to $44/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law
