Job Description

Join a leading manufacturer and distributor of stainless steel and aluminum products as an Operator. This entry-level role involves loading and unloading machines to process a variety of materials. Comprehensive in-house training will be provided on all machinery, making it a great opportunity for individuals with prior experience in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload machines to process different materials.
• Operate in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Handle objects weighing up to 90 lbs, including navigating steps.
• Work effectively in a non-controlled environment.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of warehouse/machine operator experience.
• Proficiency in using hand tools.
• Experience in assembly and production operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual abilities are a strong plus.
• High initiative and ability to work as a team player.

Work Environment

Work in a medium-sized metal fabrication facility within a non-climate-controlled environment that features large fans for airflow. Anticipate some construction as the facility continues to expand. The team consists of 7 people within a total of 120 employees on-site. Work attire includes steel toe shoes, a work shirt, and jeans, with no hats or jewelry permitted. The role is primarily on the night shift from Monday to Friday, 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with initial training on the day shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, TX.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
