About the Role
A community-focused acute care hospital in Kansas is seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse for a day shift position. This is an excellent opportunity for RNs with strong Med/Surg or ICU backgrounds who want to grow in a supportive, team-oriented critical care environment.
The ICU is an 8-bed unit with favorable nurse-to-patient ratios based on acuity, ensuring safe, quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Float as needed to:
- Skilled Nursing
- Postpartum (OB)
- Emergency Department
- Adhere to hospital clinical and professional standards
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (can be completed within 6 months of hire through the hospital)
- Professional appearance standards while on duty
Compensation & Benefits
- New RN (no experience, ADN): $27.75/hr
- RN with BSN base: $29.25/hr
- Additional pay based on experience
- Relocation bonus up to $2,500 (with receipts)
- Support for certification completion within first 6 months

Schedule Expectations
- Day shift: 7a–7p
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday
