Position Overview
This role is a blend of clinic, surgical first assist, and inpatient rounding.
You will be a key driver of the clinical side of the practice while assisting in the operating room every other week.
The ideal candidate is sharp, adaptable, confident, and thrives in a busy environment.
What You Will Do
- Provide outpatient clinical care including evaluations, follow ups, and independent patient consultations
- Assist in surgery as a first assist every other week
- Round on postoperative and inpatient neurosurgical patients
- Manage patient care plans in collaboration with the physician
- Handle occasional inpatient consults as needed
- Support continuity of care across clinic and hospital settings
Schedule and Structure
- Alternating weekly schedule
- One week focused on surgery with longer days
- One week focused on clinic with occasional inpatient consults
- Weekend rounding required only when patients are in the hospital
- No traditional call requirement
Patient Population
- Primarily cranial neurosurgery with some spine cases

Experience
- Neurosurgery or spine experience preferred but not required
- Open to training the right candidate with a strong foundation and mindset
