Job Summary:


Our client is seeking a skilled and compassionate Board-Certified General Neurologist to join their team. The ideal candidate will diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditions and perform neurodiagnostic procedures, including Electroencephalograms (EEGs) and Electromyography (EMGs). This role combines clinical expertise with procedural proficiency to deliver comprehensive neurological care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Care
  • Diagnose and treat disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles.
  • Conduct thorough neurological examinations and interpret findings.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
  • Procedural Duties
  • Perform and interpret EEGs to assess electrical activity of the brain.
  • Conduct EMGs and nerve conduction studies to evaluate neuromuscular function.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of test results.
  • Collaboration & Education
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams for integrated patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
  • Stay current with advancements in neurology and neurodiagnostic technology.


Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited neurology residency.
  • Board Certification in Neurology (ABPN or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in performing and interpreting EEGs and EMGs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.


Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with CPT coding for neurology procedures (e.g., 99204, 99214, 95886, 95913).
  • Ability to manage workflow efficiently and reduce no-show rates.
  • Experience in outpatient clinic.
