You will play a key role in maintaining hardware, software, networks, and specialized applications across multiple locations. As a Job Network Specialist 2, you will perform the following duties:
- System Oversight: Monitor and maintain hardware, software, communications equipment, and remote network operations
- User Support: Assist agency staff with software and hardware issues and provide training when needed
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of configurations, maintenance agreements, cabling, and problem resolutions
- System Planning: Prepare for system expansion by evaluating hardware and software needs and completing capacity planning
- Technical Coordination: Work with outside providers to support data exchange, programming, and specialized system functions
- Administration Duties: Manage user access, specialized systems, agency reports, and budget file uploads and downloads
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Network Specialist 1 or Network Specialist 1 (LG); or
- Four years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance; or
- Two years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance.
