What will you be doing:
The Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) Per Diem is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process, supervision of clinical practice, research involvement, consultative services, inter and intradepartmental liaison, education, leadership, and patient care management across the health care continuum from preventative, acute care through discharge. A Nurse Practitioner’s practice incorporates both independent decision-making abilities and collaboration with the board certified/eligible physician to provide expert care to the patients.

QualificationsExperience Requirements:
One (1) plus years’ experience as Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP) in PEDS – Pediatrics Neonatology.
Labor and Delivery experience.
Three (3) plus years of nursing experience.
Educational/Licensure/Certifications Requirements:
Master of Nursing Degree
Graduate of an accredited Nurse practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered
Current State of California Registered Nurse and Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP) License (eligible to obtain)
National Certification as a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
Current DEA license and Furnishing Number
Current BLS and PALS certification
