NDT Level II Technician – Radiographic Testing (RT)
Fontana, California Field Based On Site
An independent aerospace nondestructive testing organization is seeking a NDT Level II Technician with Radiographic Testing experience to support field operations. This is a hands on role working with both gamma and X ray radiography in dynamic job site environments.
This position is ideal for a technician who is confident in the field, values safety and precision, and enjoys working on a variety of inspection projects. Experience working under an Authorized Radiation Safety Program (AWRSP) with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and safe radiographic operations is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Radiographic Testing in field environments
Operate both gamma and X ray equipment safely and effectively
Set up and execute exposures while ensuring proper technique and image quality
Interpret and document inspection results in accordance with applicable codes and procedures
Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and protection requirements
Coordinate with the Operations Director on job execution and scheduling
Qualifications
Certified NDT Level II in Radiographic Testing
Experience working under an Authorized Radiation Safety Program or equivalent
Proven ability to operate both gamma and X ray radiography equipment
Strong understanding of radiographic safety protocols and compliance
Ability to work in field environments and adapt to varying job conditions
Aerospace or industrial inspection experience preferred
