Summary: ATS is seeking an ASNT Level III VT/MT Technicians for shipyard contract assignment to support our Chesapeake, VA office. Part-time (full time hours in contract assignment) to start. Full time eligible (health benefits/401K and more) after six months of continuous work with no at-fault safety or disciplinary issues. Competitive pay and per diem offered for out of area candidates, during initial part time (full time hours in contract assignment) phase expected to last six months. This is NOT A DESK JOB. Hands-on crawling around the Navy's newest submarines. You will get dirty and you will work 84 hour weeks. Per diem is available.
Responsibilities/Duties: Level III Technician
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Level III Technician – Meet the minimum requirements of a Level III Technician; provide documentation of education, training, and experience in MT and VT, at minimum; have a working knowledge of industrial environments and general manufacturing processes; ability to effectively communicate with other departments, and customers to report issues and solve problems.
