As a Strategic Account Manager, you will play a critical role in growing our business by developing new and existing customer relationships while driving sales nationally.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand relationships with key pool retailers, service providers, and distributors.
  • Travel within the territory to engage with current and prospective customers, identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Provide expert guidance on sales strategies, advertising techniques, and market trends to help dealers increase sales.
  • Demonstrate Hayward’s industry-leading products, showcasing their unique benefits and competitive advantages.
  • Analyze market trends, sales data, and customer needs to support strategic sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service, technical service, and engineering, to ensure exceptional customer support.
  • Represent Hayward at trade shows and industry events to strengthen brand presence and customer connections.
  • Manage budgets effectively and develop sales campaigns to meet company objectives.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and submit reports on sales activities and market insights.
  • Train retail sales representatives, technicians, and managers on Hayward products and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the sales team.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

· 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a technical or product-driven industry.

· Knowledge of swimming pool equipment, electronic chlorine generation, heaters (solar, gas, and electric), automation, or water chemistry is a plus.
