Nail Technician Adjunct (Morgan)

We are seeking a passionate licensed Nail Technician Instructor to inspire the next generation of beauty professionals.

This position is at Morgan High School, 20 hours a week from 7:45 - 11:45 am.
Initial training period will be at Davis Technical College campus in Kaysville.


Open until filled.1. Provides instruction, monitors progress and advises students.
2. Promotes job readiness.
3. Fosters a productive learning and training environment.
4. Maintains and implements a classroom management plan consistent with College policy.
5. Encourages and exemplifies professionalism and good work habits.
6. Interacts with students in an atmosphere of open communication.
7. Performs other work related duties as assigned.
8. Works collaboratively with high school administration, following all school safety policies and procedures.
9. Maintains a safe, clean and orderly training area by: ensuring there are adequate supplies to support continuous instruction; monitoring responsible use of supplies and equipment; and requesting and maintaining equipment as appropriate.
10. Addresses and resolves issues affecting student success, coordinating with high school staff and/or Student Services when appropriate.
Licensed as a Nail Technician or Cosmetologist.
Meets all requirements as a Nail Technician Instructor as outlined in the State of Utah licensing guidelines.
Equivalent of 2 year's full-time work experience as a Nail Technician Preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
Requires strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Licensed Nail Technician or Cosmetology Instructor
Prior teaching experience
