Our client is an established, publicly traded midsize manufacturer in the market and a portfolio of well-known brands. They're mid-transformation new leadership, a major ERP migration underway (moving to LN/Infor), and a lean accounting team that's actively building the infrastructure to support a much bigger future.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-visibility role before the structure is fully set. You'll report directly to the Regional Plant Controller and own the day-to-day accounting function across multiple facilities.
The team is close-knit and the bar to join it is high. This isn't a structured corporate environment — it's a group that's earned each other's trust doing hard things together. Low ego, high output, someone who gets things done without being asked that's who belongs here.
What You'll Own

- Cost and spend analysis track variances, communicate cause-and-effect to plant operations (contract costs, R&M, etc.)
- New product development approvals review plant accountant analysis, validate margin and cost assumptions before cross-functional sign-off
- Make/buy analysis partner with plant accountants, pressure-test before it goes to other departments
- Physical inventory participation Q4, hands-on at key sites
- Lead and develop 3–4 direct reports (plant accountants assigned to specific facilities and projects)
