Multimedia Specialist Position Summary
The Multimedia Specialist supports corporate and customer communications by producing high-quality visual content across digital, print, and video platforms. This role plays a key part in telling the company’s brand story — translating complex ideas, initiatives, and information into clear, engaging visual narratives that build trust and understanding with customers, employees, and communities. The position requires a balance of creativity and discipline, combining strong graphic design skills with end-to-end video production capabilities while working within established brand, safety, and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful visual communicator with a keen eye for detail and the ability to concept, plan, and execute polished creative work that supports business objectives and reinforces brand credibility.
Key Responsibilities Graphic Design
- Design and produce visual assets for web, digital, print, video, presentations, and email communications, ensuring consistency with corporate branding standards.
- Create layouts, graphics, and visual treatments using Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects.
- Prepare final, production-ready files for digital and print applications.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate communication goals into clear, effective visual solutions.
Video Production
- Manage end-to-end video production, including concept development, scripting, planning, scheduling, and coordination.
- Operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment for interviews, field work, and studio-style productions.
- Edit video content from initial assembly through final delivery, incorporating motion graphics, animation, titles, and graphic elements to enhance storytelling and understanding.
- Maintain organized project files and archives in accordance with internal standards.
Creative Concepting & Collaboration
- Contribute creative concepts and visual approaches that align with corporate messaging and communication goals.
- Apply strong design judgment related to composition, typography, color, pacing, and visual hierarchy.
- Work closely with communications, marketing, and subject-matter experts to ensure content is accurate, appropriate, and on-brand.
- Balance creativity with practicality, deadlines, and stakeholder requirements.
Corporate Environment & Work Expectations

- Enjoys working in a collaborative, office-based setting, with an expectation to report to the office four days per week.
- Plays an important role in storm duty and emergency response communications, helping ensure customers, employees, and communities stay informed during severe weather events or system emergencies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in graphic design across web, print, and email platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in video production, including scripting, camera operation, and post-production editing.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including tools used for design, video editing, and motion graphics.
- Experience or familiarity working with email platforms and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for digital and web content is a plus.
- Strong creative instincts with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Ability to concept visually and execute ideas from start to finish.
- Experience working as part of a cross-functional brand or communications team, contributing to shared goals and consistent brand expression.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with internal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Film Production, Multimedia, or a related field preferred.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to internal systems, tools, and workflows used for digital communications.
- Portfolio demonstrating a polished aesthetic, attention to detail, and versatility across design and video formats.
