Summary: Churchill Stateside Group, LLC (“CSG”) is an investment and mortgage banking firm offering a full range of debt and equity capital services directed towards multifamily affordable housing, commercial real estate, and renewable energy sectors.
CSG is seeking a Multifamily Associate Loan Processor to support the execution of newly originated transactions. This is an entry-level position designed for candidates interested in building a career in commercial real estate finance. The role provides hands-on exposure to underwriting, closing, and capital markets execution within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the collection, organization, and tracking of due diligence materials across multiple transactions from initial engagement through closing and post-closing.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining loan files, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and properly organized (electronic and physical files).
- Review incoming documents for completeness and follow up with internal teams or external parties as needed.
- Assist in reviewing borrower entity documentation and third-party reports (e.g., appraisals, market studies, environmental reports).
- Coordinate with underwriters, analysts, and senior processors to help ensure loan files align with underwriting requirements.
- Support the preparation of loan packages for submission to investors and secondary market participants.
- Assist in tracking closing conditions and help coordinate with internal departments, legal counsel, and third parties to facilitate timely closings.
- Participate in communication with borrowers, attorneys, title/escrow agents, and other transaction participants under the guidance of senior team members.
- Help coordinate third-party vendors (e.g., appraisals, inspections, and reports) and monitor progress against transaction timelines.
- Maintain organized records and assist in delivering final documentation in accordance with company and investor requirements.
- Foster professional and productive relationships with internal team members and external partners.
- Support senior team members with special projects and departmental initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field preferred (or equivalent internship or work experience).
- 0–2 years of experience in finance, real estate, banking, or a related field; internships are acceptable.
- Strong interest in commercial real estate finance, particularly multifamily and affordable housing sectors.
