Electromechanical Technician

Industrial Manufacturing Facility

We’re hiring an Electromechanical Technician to support production equipment and facility operations in an industrial manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on maintenance role focused on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and support safe operations.

• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on industrial production equipment
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and urgent maintenance needs
• Troubleshoot and repair:
  • Motors, fuses, relays, gearboxes, and encoders
  • Hydraulic systems and mechanical components
• Install, maintain, and repair:
  • Motors, pumps, air compressors, and fans
• Fabricate, assemble, and test mechanical system components such as pumps, valves, heaters, and compressors
• Use a CMMS system to complete work orders and request parts
• Assist with general facility maintenance as needed (painting, plumbing, basic building repairs)

• 3+ years of industrial or mechanical maintenance experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Experience with motors, relays, sensors, and PLC troubleshooting
• Comfortable working with CMMS or maintenance software
• Ability to work safely in a heavy industrial environment

• Welding or MIG welding experience
• Experience operating cranes or heavy equipment
• Background in general facilities maintenance

• 3rd Shift: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• (Monday night through Saturday morning)
• 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• (Monday–Friday)
• Typical workweek: 45–55 hours

• Heavy industrial setting (physically demanding, greasy conditions)
• Required PPE includes:
  • Metatarsal boots
  • Hard hat
  • Safety glasses
  • Gloves and long sleeves
• Team‑oriented environment focused on safe, reliable production

This is a Permanent position based out of Burns Harbor, IN.

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $62400.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Burns Harbor,IN.
