Your Role:
LDIS is seeking a motivated and curious Engineering Intern to support cross functional initiatives across multiple teams. This role provides hand-on on experience working alongside engineering, operations, and project management teams to solve real-world problems, improve processes and contribute to key projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Shadow and support engineers and team members across different departments.
Assist with basic tasks related to ongoing engineering and operational tasks.
Learn and observe engineering processes, tools, and workflows.
Help gather and organize data for team use
Participate in team meetings and training sessions
Ask questions, contribute ideas, and actively engage in learning opportunities.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, or related field)
Strong willingness to learn and take initiative
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office & Teams)
Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous internship or coursework related to engineering
Familiarity with engineering software or drafting tools
Strong organizational and communication skills

Target Salary Range: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour. Please note that Tetra Tech considers numerous factors in determining pay, including but not limited to education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business

Physical Requirements:
Constantly required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms
Constantly use hands to keyboard or type, handle materials, or manipulate objects
Light work that includes lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds and, occasionally, up to 50 pounds�
Frequently moving about to accomplish tasks.
Specific vision abilities required by this classification include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing abilities required by this classification includes those which permit the employee to discern verbal instructions and communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
Requires composure and ability to prioritize and manage several urgent tasks and requests simultaneously with an elevated level of competence and accuracy.
Occasionally climbing stairs and ladders to read meters at active oil & gas sites.

Environmental factors mostly consist of work being conducted in an indoor office environment, but are not limited to extreme temperatures (e.g., cold, heat), fumes, variable weather conditions, outdoor work, and noise due to some travel & work on worksites. FR equipment will be

Position: Part-time (24 hours per week), non-exempt

Duration: 10-week program, Starting June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026
Work Location: 5620 Ward Rd. Suite 200 Arvada, CO 80002
This position is an in-office position, Tuesday – Thursday
Travel: 2% or less, there will be travel to project sites�
FR equipment will be needed for site visits
