Multi Craft Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Multicraft Maintenance Technician for a 2nd shift position at an automotive metal stamping plant located in Huntsville, AL. The plant is divided into two key areas: assembly and stamping. The stamping section emphasizes hydraulics and mechanical operations, while the assembly section focuses on pneumatics and electrical sensors. This role involves working with ABB and Fanuc robots and operating large press machines ranging from 300 to 1500 tons.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Repair and maintain assembly equipment and stamping machinery.
• Conduct PLC troubleshooting and work with robotics systems.
• Utilize multimeters for electrical troubleshooting.
• Engage in preventive maintenance to ensure optimal plant operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Work effectively with HMIs, servo motors, and sensors.

• Proficiency with multimeters and PLC troubleshooting.
• Strong skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience in repair and maintenance within an industrial setting.
• Ability to interpret and work with blueprints and technical diagrams.

• Experience with ABB and Fanuc robots is advantageous.
• Familiarity with large press machines and industrial equipment.
