The Christian Family & Children's Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit interdenominational ministry that provides Christian programs designed to educate, equip, and engage families with a Christ-centered focus. Based in Western Pennsylvania, the Center operates two campuses and offers a variety of services, including Champion Christian Schools (P-12), Christian Counseling Services, and numerous community programs. These services are professional, family-centric, and grounded in a distinctly Christian worldview. Additionally, the Center supports Christian public policy and organizes activities such as professional training, family events, and a yearly summer outdoor Christian concert.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a High School Teacher located in Donegal, Pennsylvania. The High School Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lesson plans, teaching assigned subjects, fostering critical thinking, assessing student performance, and encouraging academic success within a Christ-centered educational environment. Collaboration with other educators and effective communication with students and parents are key aspects of this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and designing effective instructional materials
• Subject matter expertise in Education, and related academic disciplines
• Strong skills in Teaching and fostering a positive classroom environment
• Effective Communication skills for interactions with students, parents, and colleagues
• Commitment to implementing biblical and distinctly Christian principles in education
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred
• Previous experience preferred, but not required
• Alternate Certification paths are available
