MRI Technologist (ARRT or ARMRIT) – Premier Outpatient Imaging

Compensation: Up to $3,015 per week (Gross; depending on experience)

The Opportunity
A leading regional health system is expanding its outpatient imaging capabilities in Culpeper. Due to the installation of a brand-new, state-of-the-art MRI machine, we are seeking a skilled and independent MRI Technologist to join a high-performing clinical team.
This is a traditional outpatient role focusing on neuro, abdominal, and general musculoskeletal imaging. It is an ideal position for a self-motivated professional who values a stable, daytime schedule in a scenic, low-stress environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of MRI scans including neuro, abdominal, and general diagnostic imaging.
- Maintain strict adherence to MRI Safety protocols and patient screening standards.
- Manage patient workflow independently to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Critique images for quality, contrast, and density, ensuring optimal diagnostic results.
- Collaborate effectively with a tight-knit team to maintain high patient satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school for Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
- Certification: Active ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT registration (must be currently held or registry-eligible).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MRI safety, verbal/written communication, and the ability to multitask in an active outpatient setting.
- Physical: Ability to stand/walk for the shift duration and handle physical demands of patient positioning (lifting/pushing up to 100 lbs with equipment).
