Position Overview

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our Imaging Services team at Round Rock Medical Center. This role requires flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends, supporting a high-volume, fast-paced hospital environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an MRI technologist looking to grow within a leading healthcare system while working with advanced imaging technology and a collaborative care team.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform high-quality MRI procedures according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
  • Ensure accurate patient positioning, image quality, and exam efficiency.
  • Utilize AIDET communication to provide exceptional patient experiences.
  • Prepare patients and equipment while maintaining safety and comfort.
  • Follow strict MRI safety, infection control, and sterile technique standards.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness expectations.
  • Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Verify patient history, requisitions, pregnancy screening, and exam documentation.
  • Maintain accurate imaging records in PACS and EMR systems.
  • Assist with inventory management and departmental workflow.

Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI Program

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of MRI or relevant imaging experience required
  • Hospital experience preferred

Certifications & Licensure

  • ARRT (MR) or ARRT (R) required

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
