MRI Tech - Per Diem - La Jolla

Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla has served the greater San Diego community since 1924. We’re also home to notable specialty programs, including cancer care, heart surgery, orthopedic surgery, labor and delivery services (including a Level III neonatal intensive care unit) and a nationally designated Comprehensive Stroke Center.

This is a casual (per diem) position with 8-hour varied shifts, including participation in an on-call rotation. The position is primarily based at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, with the possibility of floating to AMP.

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT or CRT
• Venipuncture class completion. Certificate must be provided at application; 10 sticks must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology or equivalent education and experience in radiologic imaging obtained through a hospital-based training program or other formalized on-the-job program, in combination with current licensure/certification
• Excellent investigative, interpersonal and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of MRI experience
• Cardiac and Breast experience
