Responsibilities
As a MRI Tech 2 you will specializes in using MR equipment to produce cross-sectional images to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Provides patient instruction of procedure method. Enforces MRI safety rules for all persons in MRI Safety Zones, functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Trains and/or provides guidance to MR students. Performs and understands routine quality control procedures and participates in performance improvement activities.Qualifications
Education:Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent MRI Technology program required
Experience:2 year of experience as a Magnetic Resonance Technologist required
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
One of the following is required:
ARRT(MR) - ARRT Magnetic Resonance
ARMRIT - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists
