OverviewTEKsystems is seeking a versatile and creative Motion Graphics Designer & Video Producer to join our in-house creative team. This is a hybrid role with a primary focus on motion graphics and animation, complemented by hands-on video editing and production support. You’ll be responsible for delivering polished, branded content across corporate video, internal communications, and training programs. This role is ideal for someone who leads with design thinking but is equally comfortable in an edit bay or on a shoot.
Responsibilities
Motion Graphics & Animation (Primary — ~70%)• Design and animate motion graphics for corporate videos, training content, and internal communications.• Build and maintain After Effects templates, lower thirds, title sequences, and branded graphic systems.• Create kinetic typography, data visualizations, and infographic animations.• Develop and iterate on visual concepts that align with brand standards and creative direction.• Manage and organize motion graphics assets, project files, and templates for team use.• Render and export assets in formats optimized for various platforms and screen sizes.
Video Editing & Production Support (~30%)• Edit and finalize video content, ensuring brand consistency and high production standards.• Support shoots in both studio and field environments, including camera operation, lighting, and audio.• Collaborate with videographers and producers to integrate motion graphics seamlessly into completed video projects.• Assist with organizing and maintaining video assets and production equipment.
Qualifications
Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Film/Media Production, or a related field; or 4+ years of professional experience in a hybrid motion graphics and video production role.• Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects.• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and the broader Adobe Creative Cloud suite.• Solid understanding of animation principles, timing, easing, and visual hierarchy.• Experience creating motion graphics for corporate or broadcast video environments.• Ability to operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment in both studio and field settings.• Strong grasp of storytelling, pacing, and visual communication across both motion design and video editing.
Preferred Skills• Proficiency in Cinema 4D or other 3D software (e.g., Blender) for 3D text and element integration.• Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for asset creation.• Familiarity with expression scripting in After Effects.• Experience with green screen production and compositing.• Knowledge of video accessibility standards (closed captions, screen-reader-friendly graphics).
• Familiarity with multi-camera environments and interview setups.

RequirementA demo reel and/or portfolio of past work showcasing both motion graphics/animation capabilities and video editing experience. Examples from corporate or branded content environments are strongly preferred.
