You will be responsible for overseeing molding and filling operations on a scheduled shift and work with Plant Management on executing the build schedule to set rates and quality performance. Location: Greensboro, NC
Responsibilities:
- Work with Management on the production schedule and required resources.
- Execute to set production schedule while addressing and communicating issues to the responsible parties.
- Train and verify effectiveness of operator training on part specific processes.
- Approve and track PTO for production staff members.
- Communicate and document performance related issues with staff to the appropriate
- Management Team Member.
- Conduct and oversee required Manufacturing activities stated in the process routers, etc.
- Responsible for overseeing daily cleaning activities for both controlled production and other facility areas.
- Promote and maintain safe working practices as well as serving on the Safety Committee.
- Responsible for accurate daily scrap and production reporting.
- Lead effort to accurately record lot history records during builds and verify proper GDP and cGMP adherence.
- Responsible for compliance to Gilero’s Quality Management System.
- Start-up, shutdown, and perform basic operations of highly advanced injection molding machines and automation.
- Responsible for completing employee reviews as scheduled and work with employees on development planes and corrective actions.
- Demonstrate good dexterity, the ability to use basic hand tools and equipment.
- Maintain control of production supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Assist in root cause analysis, NCR process, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across product lines.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Methodical, highly detailed, and able to adhere to all required Quality System Requirements.
- 3 years minimum supervision experience in the medical device, food, or applicable regulated manufacturing environment
- 5 Years molding or automated assembly processes
- High school graduate (Minimum)
- Willingness to work overtime to support production demand and alternate shift coverage as needed
