Armed Forces Mutual is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven professional to support membership growth in the Fayetteville, NC market. This role combines community outreach, sales follow-up, and call-center engagement to help connect military members, veterans, and their families with life insurance solutions and related services.
This position is ideal for someone who understands and is connected to the Fayetteville military community, enjoys building trust-based relationships, and is comfortable managing a pipeline of warm leads and self-generated opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships within the local military and veteran community to increase awareness of Armed Forces Mutual’s products and services.
- Participate in outreach activities with military, veteran, and community organizations to generate leads and referrals.
- Respond to inbound inquiries and follow up with prospective members through the call-center sales process.
- Contact current and prospective policyholders regarding product information, application status, and outstanding requirements.
- Identify member needs and present appropriate solutions that support both current and future insurance goals.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, follow-up, and sales activity.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven success in sales, business development, or relationship management.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
- Ability to represent the organization professionally in community settings and with military audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior military service or military spouse background.
- Experience in life insurance, financial services and/or military recruiting.
- CLU or FLMI designation.
