What You’ll Be Doing

• 🔥 Perform MIG welding on steel components and assemblies
• 🧰 Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
• 🛠️ Set up welding equipment and adjust settings for proper weld penetration and quality
• 📏 Measure, cut, and prepare materials for welding
• 🔍 Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and appearance
• 🚚 Assist with material handling and staging parts for production
• 🧹 Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• 🤝 Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as aMIG Welderin a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions
• Strong understanding of welding safety practices
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast‑paced setting
• Additional welding processes (TIG, Stick, Flux Core) are aplus, but not required

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Summerville, SC.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
