Job Title: Mig Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mig Welder to join our welding department. This role involves working with seat frames and steel harnesses for various types of vehicles, focusing on mild grade steel.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and robotic welding tasks.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate welding.
  • Weld between 80-200 parts per day, depending on the assigned area.

Essential Skills

  • 6 months to 1 year experience in MIG welding or robotic welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Experience with mild steel welding.

Work Environment

Our large manufacturing facility specializes in bus seats and safety harnesses. Work as part of a team of either 50 or 150, depending on the shift. We operate on a 4-day, 10-hour workweek with some shifts requiring Fridays. Available shifts include 1st shift from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 2nd shift from 5:00 pm to 3:30 am, Monday through Thursday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Noblesville, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.40/hr.
