Join a dedicated metal fabrication team as a full-time Welder on 1st shift (6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.), where you will set up and operate MIG and TIG welding equipment to work primarily with steel and aluminum. In this contract-to-hire role, you will handle materials using overhead cranes and fork trucks, follow blueprints to produce high-quality welds, support production efficiency through accurate labor reporting and inventory cycle counts, and help maintain a safe, clean, and organized metal shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate MIG and TIG welding equipment to weld steel and aluminum components according to specifications.
• Interpret and work from blueprints to fabricate, position, and weld parts accurately and efficiently.
• Perform welding on tubing, high beams, and other structural components as required.
• Use overhead cranes and fork trucks to safely handle, move, and position materials and product components.
• Report labor hours accurately using an electronic scanner or similar system.
• Inspect materials and finished welds, identify non-conforming items, and discard or segregate them according to company standards.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist in maintaining accurate material and component records.

Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position based in Las Vegas, Nevada, within a metal shop manufacturing operation of approximately 25 employees. Work takes place in a large warehouse-style building composed mostly of individual work cells, with the majority dedicated to welding and painting tasks. The role runs on 1st shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., offering a consistent daytime schedule. You will regularly use MIG and TIG welding equipment, standard hand tools, overhead cranes, and fork trucks to handle and fabricate steel and aluminum components.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, NV.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Las Vegas,NV.
