St. Robert Catholic School – Ada, Michigan Beginning with the 2026–2027 School Year St. Robert Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled and dedicated Middle School Social Studies Teacher to join our team beginning with the 2026–2027 school year.At St. Robert, our mission is to provide a premier Catholic STREAM-based education where students are immersed daily in their faith and empowered to become the individuals God created them to be. Our teachers help students develop curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a deeper appreciation for the wonder of God’s creation. The ideal candidate will be a passionate educator who brings strong instructional skills, a STREAM mindset, and the ability to engage middle school students through inquiry-based science learning. Required Qualifications
Current State of Michigan Teaching Certificate with a Social Studies endorsement
Practicing Catholic willing to support and uphold the teachings and mission of the Catholic Church
Preferred Qualifications
Catechist Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Virtus – Protecting God’s Children Certification (or willingness to complete)
Position Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and implement engaging instruction aligned with Diocesan Social Studies standards for middle school students
Use student-centered learning, discussion, research, and project-based experiences to deepen understanding of historical events, geography, and civic responsibility
Integrate Catholic values and virtues into lessons and classroom culture
Collaborate with colleagues to meet the academic and developmental needs of middle school learners
Maintain a strong classroom management plan and teaching philosophy aligned with the mission and expectations of St. Robert Catholic School
