Middle School Coaches Belmont Day School seeks passionate and dedicated individu als to serve as coaches for our middle school athletics program this winter. We currently have ope nings for coach or assistant coach roles with the following sports: basketball, badminton, and wrestling. This is a part-time, seasonal position that reports to the dire ctor of athletics. Coach’s hours are Monday through Thursday, 3 to 4:30 or 5:30 p.m. daily, dependi ng on when games are scheduled. Responsibilities ● Organize and oversee all practices and games. ● Teach fundamental skills, strategies, and sportsmanship. ● Promote teamwork, discipline, and positive attitudes. ● Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school s taff. ● Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes at all times. ● Follow school and interscholastic athletics rules and polic ies. ● Model good behavior, punctuality, and professionalism. Qualifications ● High school diploma or equivalent required. ● Prior coaching or playing experience preferred. ● Ability to work with middle school-aged students. ● CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). ● Background check required.
