Mueller Christensen LLP seeks a Mid Level or Senior Litigation Associate with at least 5 years of experience to join our growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a battle-tested attorney ready to claim glory, wield the sharp steel of written discovery, and take their rightful seat among the advocates of the realm.

We are not looking for a mere scribe. We are looking for a knight of the realm — a litigator of courage, cunning, and endurance — one who can ride boldly into depositions, stand fast in court, and survive motion practice without losing head, heart, or billing discipline.

Our clients include Major League Baseball teams, law firms, businesses of all kinds, and individuals in every phase of trust and probate litigation. In other words, from great houses to common folk, from dragonlords to second sons, the disputes are many and the stakes are high.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with written discovery, depositions, law and motion practice, court appearances, and case management. Candidates should be comfortable handling substantive responsibilities independently while working closely with partners on strategy and client development, as well as supervising junior attorneys who have not yet earned their spurs.

If you can keep your composure while opposing counsel breathes fire, if you know that a deposition is coming, and if you understand that in this profession you either win the motion or you die inside revising it, then you may be the sworn sword we seek.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active California Bar membership in good standing
• At least 5 years of civil or probate litigation experience
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience managing cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: approximately $200,000 annually, depending on experience
• Minimum billable requirement: 1,750 hours annually
• Bonus eligibility under a fixed formula based on hours and performance
