Position Summary
We are seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer with a strong background in AWS, infrastructure, automation, and secure systems design. The role will focus on building and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly automated cloud environments.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible, as well as some scripting experience with Python and Bash. This individual will work closely with internal teams and remote contractors to support development, deployment, and operational workflows.
This collaborative role spans infrastructure, automation, networking, and security. This role emphasizes continuous learning, problem-solving, and contributing to a forward-thinking environment. Ideal candidates have experience with most of the skills listed below:
· 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related field
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, ECS, CloudWatch, WAF, System Manager)
· Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
· Scripting skills in Python and Bash
· Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, ECS)
· Understanding of Linux system administration
· Experience with developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines
· Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancing)
· Understanding of information security (Infosec) controls and best practices
· AWS certifications Helpful (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, SysOps)
