We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Cloud Consultant to join our dynamic team.


As a Microsoft Cloud Consultant, you will leverage your expertise in Microsoft cloud technologies, with a strong emphasis on Azure Hybrid cloud, to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions for our clients. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of cloud services.

The work location for this role is flexible if approved by Covenant except this position may not be performed remotely from Colorado and California.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implements cloud solutions leveraging Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server Solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and client requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for cloud migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions from on premises to cloud environments and cloud to cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess their cloud strategy, identifying opportunities for improvement, modernization and innovation.
  • Develop and execute automation processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Utilize and verify results from AI services for solution delivery efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot hybrid cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of services.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients and internal teams on Microsoft cloud technologies and best practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Microsoft solutions.
  • Concise technical documentation of delivered solutions.
  • Follow Rational Unified Process (RUP), Agile, and Waterfall project workflows when delivering solutions.

Qualifications:

Education, License or Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate certifications preferred.


Experience:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft Solutions.
  • 3+ years of consulting experience preferred.
  • Understanding of IT governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and management tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with other Microsoft technologies (e.g., OneDrive, Teams, Security).
