JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer/Administrator for a long-term contract opportunity. We’re looking to add a development leaning Dynamics 365 resource through our existing staff augmentation partner model. This role is hands on and delivery oriented—building and enhancing D365 and Power Platform solutions—while also covering core environment administration needed to keep the platform stable and supportable.
This person will work embedded with IT leadership and business partners to gather requirements, deliver scalable solutions, and support the ongoing health and evolution of the Dynamics 365 platform.

DUTIES:
PRIMARY FOCUS AREAS (DEVELOPMENT FORWARD)
Solution Design & Build
  • Design and implement enhancements across D365 Sales, Service, Marketing, and Customer Insights with a focus on maintainable, supportable patterns.
  • Build and maintain platform customizations including plugins, JavaScript/web resources, business rules, and user experience improvements.
Power Platform Development
  • Develop and support Power Automate flows/workflows, and related automation to streamline business processes.
  • Configure and support Power Pages as needed to extend D365 experiences externally or across audiences.
Integrations & Connected Services
  • Implement and maintain integrations with SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft 365 services, including document architecture patterns tied to D365 records.
ALM / DevOps & Release Management
  • Package, version, and deploy work using solution management and ALM/DevOps best practices (source control, deployment discipline, environment strategy).
Reporting & Insights
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reporting that help business users make decisions and track outcomes.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES (ADMINISTRATION & OPERATIONAL SUPPORT)

  • Perform essential administration: environments, security roles, user setup, licensing coordination, and configuration management (forms/fields).
  • Support capacity and upgrade planning, validation/testing of changes, and general platform health.
  • Provide escalation support and training for technical and non?technical users to ensure adoption and consistent usage.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years administering and developing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Platform environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with plugin development, JavaScript customization, Power Automate, and solution lifecycle practices.
  • Experience working through the SDLC with project delivery teams (requirements build,  test, release).
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills; able to train users and explain tradeoffs clearly.
  • Preferred certifications: PL200, PL600, PL900 (or equivalent demonstrated experience).
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, SharePoint design/administration, Learning Management Systems, and common project management methodologies.
