All Coastal Health District County Health Department employees are deemed essential employees in the event of an emergency. As such, you may be called on to participate in an event not limited to but including, staffing a shelter, a Specimen Point of Collection Site (SPOC) and/or Point of Dispensing site (POD). When you are called on to participate, you are expected and it will be a part of your job requirement to participate, whether the emergency occurs during or outside regular work hours.
This position optimizes internal processes, enhances productivity, and oversees daily operations and implements strategic in collaboration with the program director. The selected applicant oversees financial data, manages budgets, participate in grant writing, ensures cross-departmental alignment and reports to the program director to improve overall organizational efficiency and performance.
Operational Optimization: Implement and monitor policies and procedures to improve efficiency and workflows.
Financial Management: Manage budgets, analyze financial reports, ensure budget consolidation, and conduct cost-benefit analyses
Grant Writing duties:Identify and analyze funding opportunities that align with the organization's goals. Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals and grant applications. Manage the grant lifecycle, including tracking deadlines, maintaining grants calendar, and gathering necessary documentation as needed.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with program leadership to define company-wide goals and execute strategic initiatives
Performance Metrics: In coordination with the program director, monitor key performance indicators and report on performance to community stakeholders.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor staff to drive performance and employee engagement.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Manage projects and other assignments as requested to ensure seamless operations.
Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or a related field which includes three (3) years in a managerial or supervisory role; or seven (7) years of related professional experience which includes three (3) years in a managerial or supervisory role; or three (3) years of experience required at the lower level Mgr, Business Ops (GSM010) or position equivalent. Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over year.For more information on the State of Georgia Benefits visit http://team.georgia.gov/
