Job Description

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, compliance, and robustness of precision injection molded components used in medical device and life science applications. This role supports new product introductions, process validation, and ongoing production quality. The Quality Engineer leads dimensional metrology activities, supports validation studies, performs statistical analysis of manufacturing performance, and collaborates closely with engineering, tooling, and operations teams to ensure products consistently meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements. The position operates within a regulated manufacturing environment and supports compliance with ISO and applicable medical device quality system standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead dimensional metrology activities.
• Support IQ/OQ/PQ validation studies.
• Perform statistical analysis of manufacturing performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, tooling, and operations teams.
• Ensure products consistently meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen manufacturing quality and drive continuous improvement.

• Ability to perform hand calibrations using a gage pin and micrometer
• Proficiency in part print reading and GD&T
• Ability to analyze 2D parts to 3D
• Experience in developing validation processes and protocols

Work Environment

This position is on-site with a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The role involves working closely with the quality manager and technician, engaging in client problem-solving, and collaborating with motivated, cross-functional engineering teams.

This is a Permanent position based out of Scottsdale, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
