Key Accountabilities
- Day-to-day technical support (incident management, updates, system monitoring, troubleshooting, problem resolution, etc.) that help optimize manufacturing processes, reduce errors, and increase efficiency.
- Working with vendors or other IT groups when issues arise or when opportunities for improvement are available.
- Develop and maintain web services and interfaces, contribute the front-end and back-end development process and infrastructure for the MES. This includes communications between the MES and ERP, PLCs as well as other data sources.
- Providing technical input to help troubleshoot issues in other areas during MES usage.
- Implementation of enhancements at the factory for all phases of the deployments (requirements gathering, definitions, test, implementation, etc.), interfacing with operations, quality, process engineering, control engineering and product development areas.
- Lead and in other cases support initiatives such as: Industry 4.0, IIoT, Paperless Factory, Data Reporting, System Integrations (ERP, PLCs, etc.), Cybersecurity Controls, etc.
- Implementation of new capabilities at the factory, which include: Establish technical requirements, Develop and lead implementation plans that complete within timing to meet customers' expectations, Identify and escalate project risks, Communicate status regularly to all stakeholders, Monitor & report performance, to ensure business goals are met.
- Support/train end-users in MES navigation and general system utilization to ensure users become self-sufficient.
Academic and Experience
Professional Certificate (Bachelor’s in computer science, Information System or related Field) with minimum 4+ years of professional experience as a MES engineer supporting critical process along with expertise into below mentioned fields:
- Experience with gathering and documenting customer requirements for MES system through client interviews, documentation analysis and Workflow Process Mapping.
- Experience with process definition, sequence of operations, and human factors considered for manufacturing operations
- Experience providing technical input to help troubleshoot issues during MES usage.
- Manufacturing process knowledge (production orders, routes, BoM, inventory, packing, tracking, shipping, Etc.).
- Make-to-Order environment experience.
- Familiar with ERP systems (Oracle)
Technical Skill
- VS.NET (Full-Stack), angular.
- Oracle (PL/SQL) data base. Apex.
- OPC Server (I-gear, Kepware, etc.).
- Networking and Server Fundamentals
