To thrive as a Part Time Merchandiser with Viking Coca Cola, you’ll need a blend of essential skills and practical abilities. Strong customer service and communication skills are paramount, as you’ll be interacting with both customers and store managers to ensure the best possible experience. A valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a satisfactory motor vehicle check are required for this role, as you will be using your personal vehicle for work. Proficiency in operating a manual pallet jack and 2-/4-wheel carts will be necessary to manage product deliveries efficiently.

You should be physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 2,200 lbs, as well as adept in basic cash-handling and recordkeeping tasks. Adhering to merchandising standards and product rotation procedures is crucial, alongside maintaining a clean and organized back-room. Finally, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision will ensure your success in this fast-paced and energetic environment.
