Associate Merchandise Planner
Reports to: VP, Planning

Position Description:
This role is a detail oriented, data driven planning role reporting to the VP, Planning. The Associate Merchandise Planner will be responsible for preparing and distributing key reports, creating seasonal sales plans with order recommendations, and Ad-hoc data analysis that are important to the business while working with cross functional teams to create strategies for long term growth. Key functions are forecasting inventory needs, sales trends, and margin scenarios to meet company financial goals across multiple channels.
Strong candidates are those who have a retail background, with a good grasp of retail math and inventory planning concepts. Candidates must be motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented. A positive outlook and strong interpersonal skills—verbal and written-- are essential. Skills needed for this position include identifying meaningful trends from quantitative and qualitative data, a proficient knowledge of Excel, adept critical thinking, strong communication, and good organizational skills.
