The ideal candidate for the Mental Health Program Coordinator at the Juvenile Treatment Center will have strong experience coordinating and evaluating mental health treatment programs for justice-involved youth and young adults in a detention setting. They will have demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams, facilitating strategic program development, and ensuring services align with individualized rehabilitative goals and assessments, pre-release planning, and whole-person care.
This candidate will have a solid understanding of Title 15 requirements, evidence-based practices, and the CalAIM initiative as it relates to both pre- and post-release health services. They will be skilled in collaborating with schools, healthcare partners, contract counties, and community-based organizations to support continuity of care and address service gaps. The ideal candidate will also be an effective supervisor, experienced in hiring, training, evaluating, and developing clinical staff. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to coordinate complex services for high-needs youth, and proficiency in managing program budgets, grants, and community contracting will contribute to success in this role.

Salary/Compensation: $88,026 - $117,874 per year
