Position Summary

TLI is seeking a service‑driven, pro-active, enterprising, insurance professional to support and grow our insured member base. As the first point of contact for policy inquiries, renewals, and new business opportunities, the Member Services Representative plays a critical role in retention, revenue growth, and member satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to identify members’ needs and recommend appropriate TLI products.

Since 1979, we have protected Texas attorneys through exceptional service, tailored coverage, and industry‑leading risk management education. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound member inquiries via phone, email, and written correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
  • Proactively support growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and appropriate ancillary products.
  • Assist members with policy information, coverage questions, billing inquiries, and general account support.
  • Encourage and secure renewals to support retention goals.
  • Process policy changes, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and other service‑related transactions accurately.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, accounting, and claims to resolve member issues efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and data confidentiality standards.
  • Perform additional duties and projects assigned.

Required Education, Experience, and Abilities

  • Minimum 3 years of insurance industry experience in customer-facing or account management role.
  • Active Texas General Lines Insurance License required at time of application.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys and law firm staff.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and insurance database/CRM systems.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.


TLI Benefits & Compensation


  • Medical insurance 100% funded for employees; dependents subsidized at 75%.
  • 401(k) match of 2:1 up to 3% (e.g., employee contributes $30, TLI contributes $60).
  • Base salary range: $70,000–$90,000, depending on experience and demonstrated success.
