Job Description:

What will you work on?
We are seeking a creative and enthusiasticPackageDesignInternto join our team for the summer months of May/June through mid August. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the entire packagingdesignprocess, from concept to production, at a leading toy company.

How will you create impact?

• Assist thedesignteam in creating and developing innovative packaging extensions for our diverse range of toys.
• Support the creation of mockups and prototypes for new packagingdesigns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and engineering, to ensure packagingdesigns align with product and brand objectives.
• Conduct research on packaging trends, materials, and competitor products to informdesigndecisions.
• Assist with sample organization, shipment coordination, and maintaining the sample library.
• Help manage deadlines and communicate project progress to thedesignleads.

What are your skills and experience?

• Currently pursuing a degree in GraphicDesign,PackagingDesign, StructuralDesign, or a related field.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your creativity,designskills, and anypackagingprojects.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for toys, child development, and creative play.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a fast-paced, collaborative team.

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Connecticut is $25 Per Hour. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
