Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Understanding of dementia, stroke, skin care, and geriatric patient care. - Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - ER experience preferred.

Required Credentials: - Required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.

Special Requests: - An interview may not be available prior to offer. - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. - References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. - Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. - Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Holidays alternating. - No call or standby requirement.

Floating Requirements: - May be floated to ER based on experience. - First to float.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead reference from within the last 12 months

1 Manager/Supervisor reference from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
