Pride Health is hiring a “Traveler - Medical Technician (Traveler)” to support our client’s medical facility-based “Erie PA 16509, This is a 3-4-months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!


Position Name: Traveler - Medical Technician (Traveler)

Location: Erie PA 16509

Pay rate: $2200/weekly

Duration: 3-4 months with possible extension

Shift: 10pm – 6:30am (rotating weekends and holidays)


Job Description:

Performs routine and some moderate-complexity lab tests under supervision using automated and manual methods. Ensures accurate testing, reporting, and compliance with lab standards.



State of Credentials Licenses Required: PA


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle specimen processing, testing, and result reporting
  • Operate and monitor lab instruments and automated systems
  • Perform manual testing procedures when required
  • Review and release test results accurately
  • Maintain documentation, records, and quality control logs
  • Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and lab safety guidelines
  • Identify and resolve testing issues or escalate when needed
  • Report critical results as per protocol
  • Maintain lab cleanliness and reagent tracking
  • Participate in training, meetings, and safety programs


Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Chemistry/Biology or associate degree in Lab Science/Medical Technology (preferred)
  • 1–3 years of clinical lab experience (preferred)
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and provide good customer service
