Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 9 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Missouri Health Care and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Missouri Health Care.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Previous Employment Requirements: 9-month gap required between assignments to return as a traveler.

Required Skills/Experience: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Respiratory, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Tracheostomy care/management, Gastrointestinal, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Feeding tube care and management, Neurological/Psychiatric, Medications, Heparin, Insulin, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Work Settings, Med/Surg, Genitourinary/Renal, Plastics, Surgical drains

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience, Accessing/Managing Ports, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Oral suctioning, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, PCA, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Renal failure, BH exp, Heparin drips

Special Requests: All RTO must be submitted at time of submission – no exceptions. Must work 50% of holidays during contract.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend

Floating Requirements: Other med-surg units

7 days maximum time off

2 Any references from within the last 3 years
