  • 100% onsite role.
  • Work Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8 hours per day (40 hours per week).

Description:

  • This role provides administrative and operational support for Peer Review and Medical Staff Office (MSO) functions and is not a traditional credentialing position. The primary focus is on committee coordination, clinical case review workflows, and quality initiatives, with only minimal involvement in credentialing-related data entry.
  • The coordinator supports the Multi-Specialty Peer Review Committee (MSPRC) by managing meeting logistics, including scheduling, preparing agendas, distributing case materials, and documenting and circulating meeting minutes. The role also involves drafting and issuing correspondence to providers regarding case outcomes and follow-up actions, maintaining accurate case tracking logs, monitoring shared inboxes, and ensuring timely communication. Additionally, the position is responsible for generating monthly reports for the Medical Executive Committee (MEC) and assisting with select MSO projects related to credentialing and privileging processes.

Responsibilities include triaging and categorizing cases, summarizing case details to determine appropriate next steps (committee review, redirection, or trend tracking), and coordinating with reviewers to gather feedback. The coordinator prepares comprehensive case packets for committee review, extracts relevant clinical data from EMR systems, and supports system transitions (e.g., ATLAS, MIDAS, IRIS to RL) to ensure data integrity and workflow continuity.

  • Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential clinical information.
  • Strong written communication for provider correspondence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently.
