Medical Scheduler

📍 Location: Castro Valley, CA (Onsite)

🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role

We’re looking for a friendly, organized Medical Scheduler / Front Desk Coordinator to join our team! In this patient-facing role, you’ll be the first point of contact, helping create a welcoming and seamless experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

What You’ll Do

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, following C-I-CARE service standards
• Check patients in and out, verifying insurance and demographic information
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments using Epic (EHR system)
• Answer multi-line phones, route calls, and respond to inquiries professionally
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA
• Coordinate with clinical staff to support smooth patient flow and communication
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, faxing, and filing medical documents

Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday–Friday schedule with an 8:30 AM start time
• Includes two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch
• Work alongside another Front Desk Receptionist in a collaborative setting

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with Epic is required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinic setting
• Comfortable handling phones, scheduling, and administrative responsibilities
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and patient privacy

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Castro Valley, CA.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Castro Valley,CA.
