This firm is known for handling sophisticated, high-value cases involving catastrophic injuries, surgical errors, misdiagnosis, and wrongful death—often preparing every matter for trial from day one. Firms in this space routinely recover significant verdicts and settlements and work closely with leading medical experts to build compelling cases .

What You’ll Do

  • Handle a full caseload of medical malpractice litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery; conduct depositions
  • Work closely with medical experts to develop case strategy and liability theories
  • Prepare cases for trial, with the opportunity to gain courtroom experience
  • Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in high-stakes matters


What We’re Looking For

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the New York Bar
  • 2–6+ years of experience in medical malpractice or personal injury litigation
  • Strong litigation, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
  • Trial experience or strong interest in trial work is a plus

Compensation & Billables

  • Billable Requirement: 1,950 hours
  • Includes 50 hours of productive non-billable work (1,900 billable target)
  • Bonus Structure: Monthly production bonus
  • Year-end bonus typically ranging from 4%–10%
  • 10% bonus at 2,100 hours



Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between [$150,000 – $220,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
