Schedule: 3x12, 7 pm-7 am, Sat, Sun, Mon

Location: Jacksonville, FL 32216

Job Type: [Travel contract / local contract]

Contract Length: 26 weeks

Pay Range: $35-$41/hr

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.


Duties:

  • Perform testing across Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and Coagulation
  • Conduct QC, run instruments, and perform routine maintenance
  • Work as a generalist with exposure to blood bank tasks
  • Independently manage workload during night shift
  • Maintain accuracy, quality, and compliance within laboratory standards

Requirements:

  • Education: BS in Med Tech, 2 years of experience
  • License(s): FL state License required
  • Certification(s): ASCP or AMT certification required
  • BS in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biological, Chemical, or Physical Science OR qualifying CLIA alternative
  • 1 year of relevant clinical laboratory experience (depending on education route)
  • ASCP or AMT certification required
  • Blood bank experience required
  • Epic LIS experience preferred
  • Color vision screening required
  • Must meet all CLIA testing personnel requirements
  • Ability to work independently on night shift
  • Hep B, Flu (declination accepted), and standard medical screenings required
  • Reliable transportation is a must.
