Job Summary

Responsible for selling an Acute Care product portfolio and developing strategic relationships with clinical leaders in targeted hospitals.

Supports Account Managers in driving new business and expanding existing accounts. Acts as a proactive member of the sales team to grow territory performance.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Utilize established sales processes to convert competitive accounts.
  • Maintain and update CRM weekly to track opportunities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and clinical evaluations.
  • Assist clinical specialists with physical inventories as part of the sales process.
  • Deliver presentations highlighting product value propositions.
  • Drive product sales within assigned territory.
  • Build relationships with clinical thought leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Support agreement negotiations for new and existing business.
  • Communicate clinical data and value-based outcomes effectively.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (corporate accounts, IDN, clinical specialists, etc.).
  • Monitor market trends and provide feedback to leadership.
  • Organize and lead user seminars on clinical benefits and outcomes.
  • Coordinate evaluations to establish clinical champions.
  • Maintain detailed account profiles and accurate sales forecasts in CRM.
  • Conduct annual business reviews with customers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of successful hospital-based sales experience, preferably selling innovative technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated success selling to multiple stakeholders (e.g., Anesthesia, Respiratory, ICU, OR, Biomedical, C-Suite).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence clinicians and drive adoption of new technologies and care processes.
  • Experience conducting clinical evaluations, research, or focus groups.
  • Ability to communicate value-based solutions effectively.
  • Willingness to travel (including overnight) and valid driver’s license required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling innovative or disruptive healthcare solutions.
  • Track record of introducing new concepts or technologies into clinical settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop clinical champions.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proven sales experience in the field, specifically with complex sales cycles.
  • Experience outside the Operating Room (OR)—candidates from respiratory or anesthesia backgrounds tend to translate well.
  • Experience selling across departments / value analysis exposure (e.g., selling into biomedical, critical care, respiratory, etc., rather than a single specialty).


Compensation

  • Base Salary: $90,000 + benefits
  • Variable Compensation: $140-180k
